At their March 4th meeting, the Buncombe County Commission will receive a presentation on the latest developments in their Coxe Avenue Affordable Housing project, which includes the recommendation to engage Harmony Housing, a as a “development partner.” The proposed housing development will have more deeply affordable housing available than many other projects, which is good news.

The Buncombe County Commission will vote on whether to move forward with Harmony Housing on March 18th. We are researching the organization and will update you once we have a position on whether they seem like the right choice for the work.
